[sIFR3-dev] non-breaking spaces in sIFR replaced text

Is there a way to include a nonbreaking space in text that is formatted 
by sIFR? When I included   in my string, it gets ignored when 
replaced. I've tried doing something along the lines of <span>some 
text</span>&nbsp;&nbsp;<span>continuation of the text</span> but that 
doesn't seem to work because sIFR makes the flash object wider than the 
text it contains.

Any ideas?
